Discover why you could be having an allergic reaction to food

I have had a victory and want to share it with you! If you are suffering ill health at present, then I want to let you know that you can turn this situation around and you can get through this tough patch in your life.

If someone had said to me when I was in the thick of ill health (due to hemiplegic migraines) that I had the power to change my situation, I would have laughed at them……through the tears. Yet, now I am so appreciative of having had the experience of ill health as it forced me to get up off my bum and do something about it. It’s not the first time in my life that I have suffered serious ill health so I am no stranger to having to pick up the pieces and ‘push through it.’ After quite some soul searching I discovered what was causing my ill health and am now adamant about protecting my health in the most natural way possible – organic foods. I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that what I put in my body will be reflected in the quality of my health just as what you put into your body affects your health level too.

So, how about you? How is your health at the moment? Mine is great, although I do have to be mindful of migraine triggers. I have heard the saying ‘once a migraine sufferer, always a migraine sufferer.’ If you suffer from this curse then you know what I mean. I’m not referring to a common old headache which is usually different from a migraine – a migraine is your brain under attack. Just like a heart attack. It can cause stroke and a life-threatening condition in a very short space of time. Read my other posts and you will see what I mean.

Here’s the thing though – there are SO many health ailments these days that were just not around even 50 years ago and through my experience in recovering good health I am becoming more and more convinced with each food product I research that we are being bombarded with chemicals and articificial ingredients every which way we turn. I made some bread rolls  on the weekend (using unbleached flour, organic spelt flour and organic rye flour)  and after lightly toasting them, waiting for them to cool down a bit, I spread NZ Westgold butter and home-made strawberry jam on them – wow. Now, that is living in my opinion. Washed down with a banana milkshake made with raw full cream milk, raw organic egg, ice cubes (made from filtered water), raw organic banana, splash of organic vanilla, and a litre of raw organic milk and my body yelled – thank you!!!  Bob and Nicky really enjoyed it too.

Commercial fast food is now a thing of the past in our place. I can honestly say I have had no cravings for processed food as all my dietary needs are being met through good nutrition – and I mean NO cravings. I have researched just what is in the burgers and fries I used to eat on a Friday night and now think – yuk!!! If you are still partaking in fast foods, then one of the best things you can do for yourself is to download my book and read just what you are consuming. I used to think it was convenient but the time saved in cooking meals is far outweighed through the results of poor health.

I had a revelation when I was in the thick of suffering – if our bodies are made up of cells then what goes into those cells during their manufacture determines the quality of those cells. In other words, if I kept eating mediocre quality foods then the cells produced had to be made up of what I was consuming. That meant that those take-out meals of burgers, fries and Coke were definitely playing a role in the level of poor health I was experiencing. It was such a simple concept with such a simple solution. I believe God teaches us simply and when we don’t listen then look out because he will get our attention one way or another. I love the word of God (King James) and one of my favourite scriptures is:

My son, attend to my words;

incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Let them not depart from thine eyes;

keep them in the midst of thine heart.

For they are life unto those that find them,

and health to all their flesh.

(Proverbs 4:20-22)

I also love the scripture that says ‘faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God’ (Romans 10:17) and the scripture ‘And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.’ I soon realised that as I spent time in the word (King James) and learnt who I am in Jesus Christ that healing belongs to me.

Just know there is a way through your patch of ill health – Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He said he would never leave us nor forsake us and that goes for times of ill health too. If you doubt that – you are here aren’t you?
